Tuesday, May 6th, 7-8pm

Parents of current K-5th graders are invited to attend this meeting in the classroom that their child will be in for the next school year. Teachers will explain their routines and curriculum and have a Q&A session.  Come and discover what your child can expect from next year’s teacher!

Current third grade parents and students: Please join us at 6:15pm to learn about next year’s band program and choose your instrument as well.

Holocaust Survivor to speak at Secondary Chapel

On May 6th the secondary students at Bethany will have the privilege of hearing a Holocaust survivor speak. Dr. Sabina Zimering, a Polish Jew, will be coming to share her gripping story with grades 7-12. She will be speaking from 11:45-12:30 in the chapel. Parents are invited. Her book Hiding in the Open: A Holocaust Memoir will be available for purchase.

SPRING BAND CONCERT 2008!

Who? Everyone is welcome!

What? Spring Band Concert

Where? Bethany Academy

When? Friday, May 9, 2008 @ 7:00pm

Why? Why not?

The Bethany Academy Music Department is doing things a little differently this year. Instead of having an Elementary Concert and a Secondary Concert we are having a Band Concert (featuring students in Band from 4th Grade up to 8th Grade) and an All-School Vocal Concert (featuring all choirs from Kindergarten up to 12th Grade plus the Sr. High Band and the Worship Arts Class).

Please join us for the Spring Band Concert on Friday, May 9th at 7:00pm. It will be a fun night filled with various styles of music. There will also be a time of fellowship and refreshments in the cafeteria after the concert.
