Spiritual Emphasis Week:

April 7 – April 11 we will be having Spiritual Emphasis for 7-12th grade. There will be special speakers every day at chapel. Parents are invited, as always, to join the students from 11:43-12:37. The schedule is as follows: Monday – New Life Family Services; Tuesday – break out day; Wednesday – Kyle Brubaker; Thursday – Heather Flies; Friday – John Knipp from Bloomington Baptist Church.

Spiritual Emphasis Week Break out day -Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 8:30-11:30 for 7-12th grade.

On Tuesday, April 8th, your student and his/her class will be spending the morning at the home listed below. During this time, the class will spend time in God’s word and prayer, discuss chapel speakers and other topics, participate in community building games and other fun activities lead by their homeroom teacher. It will be a great opportunity for the students to spend time together off campus, while building the class community.

Please drop your student off at the designated home at 8:30. Your student’s attendance is required. Students will not come to Bethany Academy the morning of the 8th! Transportation will be provided from the home to school at 11:30. All students will eat during the second lunch period (11:55-12:20). The afternoon will be normal schedule.

UPCOMING SPRING CONCERTS

Please mark your calendars for these upcoming spring concerts: The Elementary and Junior High Band Concert on Friday, May 9th at Bethany Academy and the ALL-SCHOOL SPRING CONCERT on Tuesday, May 13th to be held at Calvary Church, 5300 France Avenue South, in Edina. ALL ELEMENTARY STUDENTS and ALL JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS, as well as the HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR AND BAND and WORSHIP ARTS CLASS will be participating in the all-school event on the 13th! Due to the increased size in audience, the concert is being held OFF CAMPUS at Calvary Church in Edina. More detailed information is forthcoming so watch fast news and the elementary Friday folders each week as we get closer to the date. A free will offering will be taken at the May 13th concert to help cover the additional expenses involved.

Hot Lunch update

There will be no hot lunch service Thursday, March 27 & Friday, March 28,

because the Bloomington school district is not in session those 2 days.

PLEASE BRING A BAG LUNCH – Milk & juice will be provided.

Spring picture packets need to be returned ASAP if you don’t plan to purchase any of the packet. If you plan to purchase a portion of the packet, please return the rest of the pictures that you don’t purchase.
