Auction Policy Change

Each year we make adjustments to the Auction to improve the event for everyone involved. The past policy regarding students in attendance at the auction is as follows:

  • In previous years we have enjoyed and encouraged all secondary students to participate in a volunteer capacity. We have always been blessed with an abundance of volunteers; often we have had more volunteers than jobs.
  • Due to liability issues, we have asked parents to use discernment and wisdom in whether they should bring their younger students to the event.  Our policy was that all younger students must be in the complete care of the adult at all times.
  • All non-volunteering students paid the full ticket price of admittance.

As an Auction Team we are feeling called to streamline our budget and to be even better stewards of our funds. Since we have such a love for all of our students, but need to establish parameters around this evening, we have made the following changes to policy.

  • There is select number of volunteering positions.  If a student chooses to volunteer they have free admittance into the event and will enjoy an event dinner served at 4:45 pm in the cafeteria.  Volunteers must be in 9th-12th grade.
  • All other Bethany students K-12 will be $10 at the door.
  • If you are a parent of a younger student and you choose to bring them to this event they must be in your care at all times.  Due to liability issues this will be strictly enforced.

Hopefully, this new policy strikes a balance for all parties involved.  If you have already paid full admission for your student, please see Rosey Brausen in the office for a refund.

Live Auction Suprise Question!!

Do you love the Vikings? Would you  love them even more if you and a friend were sitting in the front row of the Dec. 13th Game?? If so come and raise your paddle at the Live Auction.

Auction RSVP’s and Donations

We are still accepting donations and RSVP’s through Tuesday, November 10th.  The donations have been wonderful.  This is an auction you do not want to miss!!! RSVP in the office today!!
